El Atlacatl in Miami

Awesome taste and flavor. One of the best

We tried the Super Antojito Atlacatl and it was delicious and filling! The waitress was quick, pleasant and very helpful when we were trying to decide what to try. The mixed drinks were fruity and strong.

The food was delicious, i had the chance to try both steak and seafood. The churrasco was very tasty and the Chimichurri was very fresh in its taste. The seafood plate we ordered was not a let down in anyway, the fish was flakey and very tasty. The shrimp, calamari and crab had a fresh non frozen flavor as if everything was part of the days catch. I would highly recommend it and I will be coming back.

The food is very tasteful but the service is VERY POOR. They have recently remodeled it but there is no strong management skills. Starting with the way waiters seem to not be coordinated and are not effective with customer service. I came in on a Sunday which any restaurants with good food gets full. We were sat down very quickly but no one ever showed up to take our order after being sitting down for 10 minutes. When the waiters came she did not connect in a genuine way and did not even bring us water. We sat down for literally 30 minutes for our food understanding that it was very busy .I guess the team is not customer oriented and I blame that on the management. They should definitely spend more time on developing the skills of their waiters and training them around customer service. Even though I’m a Salvadorian and I LOVE supporting salvadorian restaurants I will not be returning to this restaurant. 😕

Pupusas are delicious , especially if you're coming from a city that lacks Salvadorian culture. Felt like my mom's cooking. Service does need to improve however.

I always love eating here with my mom & sisters. This is our morning hang out. Great food. Good service. The new renovation is amazing! It looks new but with the same great service.

I have been at this place so many times!!!!Always Just to enjoy the music.Sometimes i eat,drink or both.But today dicember 18 2018 the manager ask me to leave the restaurant because i just want to enjoy and be part of tne good music.Do business is hard at this time ....but is not my fault your bad day.Thank you and have a good time.Best Regards

A friend recommended I check out this restaurant, and I'm glad I did! I ordered some pupusas which were incredible! They were a bit heavy on the grease, but the service and quality was still on point. Great place for dinner and drinks.

The staff in this restaurant is very familiar and the food is amazing you should try to go and enjoy it .

Food was okay but they stopped giving chips while you wait for food. Shame too for their chips were really good. The service was good and the food was delivered quick.

Well what can I say 'El Atlacatl' is one of the only restaurants in Miami that celebrates El Salvador culture and that at the same time gives you the care and attention you deserve. And the food is just exquisite and full of rich flavors that make your taste buds want even more, so yes you should definitely stop by to grab a bite.

Very good place over all. Food is delicious. Beef soup is beyond imagination. Place is always clean and well maintained. Staff courteous. There is a nice outdoor sitting with plants around it. Table inside the place might too close but nice to make a warm ambience. If you are not bothered by people that close to you.

This restaurant is charging a surcharge to all credit cards without proper notice, food is overpriced they make you pay for gratuity when service is not good, used to like going there even though service is not great but they lost a great customer, such of scammers.

Best Salvadorian place ever!!! Food was delicious, prices seemed high at first but once I saw portions it was well worth it. Service was great. Restaurant was neat and clean and didn't smell like wet rag thank god. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Menu is really overpriced in most items specials about $8 red sauce taste like fish bland rice with old bag aftertaste chicken well cooked tasty sauce kill it for me .place clean all employees had good helping attotude but they all had sad long faces did not see a smile anywhere .hope they improve .

This place now charges an additional 2.5% when paying with credit cards. Service is not great, on an 80% empty restaurant I ordered an appetizer and not only was the main course brought before appetizer but it was the last dish brought to table. The waitress then tried tried to blame me for not telling her to have the appetizer brought to table first; lady that goes without saying for appetizers and I don't work for restaurant, if there was uncertainty the waitress should have asked. My party ordered 3 passionfruit juices and a horchata none of which were cold. I had to request to ice so my party could have a cold juice to drink. On top of that the waitress forgot to place glasses of water for the party. I had to ask for water for my party. This was on Thursday the day before Valentine's. I pity the poor folks that go to this place on a busy day like Valentine's day on Friday.

The place looks amazing, sophisticated and professional. I kept it simple with the spaghetti and shrimp. The portion was filling and everything was delicious, especially the pupusa. The service was attentive and impeccable. Great place for dinner and drinks.

Is one of those hidden gems that has not been discovered, try the pupusas and pretty much every thing we ordered was delicious. Don't go to this place expecting five start service the destination is the food, the service is good, order the grilled sea food tour will not regret it.

This place is renovated and it’s charging their customers for the expense adding a 2.5% credit card swipe ?think if you’re splitting the cost with your party with multiple cc). They assured you all restaurants do it which is BS. My party and I eat out literally every week and never seen such sneaky charge. If you’re in Miami Beach it’s another story 🙄

I have not had anything I did not like food wise at this restaurant. Seafood is good. The cheese papogas are the BEST!

I have been coming here for a long time but moved recently and hadn't come in a year. Hey have remodeled the place and it looks really nice. Food continues to be just as good. Pictured here are the huevos rancheros with meat and un tamal de elote. My kids always order the tamal even if it is to go.
